Jaakko Arola & Magdalena Lorenz is a new improvising duo moving across sonic fields of experimental, classical, folk and jazz. Exploring the seemingly endless possibilities of modified bass clarinet, violin and the human voice, they create diverse soundscapes that may transport the listener into spheres afar.
Magdalena and Jaakko met in 2025 in Reykjavik, formed a duo and recorded an album with a release scheduled for 2026.
